ACE EPIC IDEA CHALLENGE 1.0 FINAL EVALUATION RESULT

The innovator teams on 9th June, 2023 during the final presentation stage adjudged the winner, first runner up, and Second runner up for each Theme as follows:

Theme 1: Manufacturing (Electronics, Biotechnology, and Mechanical and related domains)

They made 1.5,4,6,12 volt batteries to power light devices & low voltage devices which directly stores renewable energy in a renewable storage option.

Ltd. is involved in developing and manufacturing advanced materials such as nanomaterials, polymers, and various devices comprising them such as electrodes, sensors, and energy storage and conversion devices for detecting the contamination in water.
Second Runner upAmbala College of Engineering and Applied Research, Ambala, HaryanaGreen leafletThe team is developing hydroponic system to grow plants without using soil. It is a soilless cultivation technique that utilizes nutrient-rich water as the growing medium. Instead of relying on soil for nutrients, hydroponic systems deliver a carefully balanced solution of water and nutrients directly to the plant roots.
Indian Institute of Science- Bangalore; University of Southern CaliforniaAstrogreenThe team provided a satellite-aided dashboard that will be used for observation of global Greenhouse Gas Emissions. Team can extensively use it for detection of unusual leaks (gas and oil) and immediate resolution. Data collected would be used to help facility operators and regulators make crucial decisions about current and future emissions.

They aim to address the communication gap between the deaf and hearing communities in India. The start-up recognizes the importance of sign language as a primary means of communication for many deaf individuals and seeks to make information more accessible and inclusive.
First Runner upAmbala College of Engineering and Applied Research, Ambala, HaryanaSaarthiThe team is providing an online career guidance and learning system to students. Using the system for one week user will be guided about their area of interest, and suggest them career options using analytical tools. Once career option selected the system will provide step by step guidance about that career options.
Second Runner upIISER Mohali, PunjabPrimlsThe team building a system to analyze sensitive data without compromising privacy. They are building a privacy protection framework for ML service providers that will enable them to perform computation on their enterprise-client’s data without learning any information about it. The secure framework is based on “Multi-party Computation”.
ITM Vocational University, Vadodara, GujaratAvengersThe team is working on software development for development of application to support inventory management systems for goods sorting based on color, size, type (metallic, non-metallic, fiber, plastics, clothes etc.), weight, phase (solids, liquids, gases) and types of packaging (Primary, secondary, tertiary).
