The 15 Days EDP Program covers the following:

Day 1 – Introduction to Entrepreneurship

  • Importance and relevance of entrepreneurship in today’s world.
  • Definition and key characteristics of an entrepreneur.
  • Examples of successful entrepreneurs and their journey.
  • Interactive session: Students share their perceptions of entrepreneurship.

Day 2 – Identifying Opportunities

  • Understanding market trends and demands.
  • Recognizing gaps and identifying potential business ideas.
  • Brainstorming session: Students generate business ideas and discuss their feasibility.
  • Case study: Highlighting successful businesses that identified opportunities.

Day 3 – Business Planning

  • Introduction to the business planning process.
  • Key components of a business plan.
  • Setting goals and objectives, and defining the target audience.
  • Activity: Students develop a basic business plan for their chosen idea.

Day 4 – Marketing and Sales

  • Importance of marketing and sales in entrepreneurship.
  • Different marketing strategies and channels.
  • Developing a marketing plan and sales pitch.

Day 5 – Financial Management

  • Understanding basic financial concepts for entrepreneurs.
  • Budgeting, forecasting, and managing cash flow.
  • Sources of funding for startups.
  • Case study: Analysing the financial management of successful entrepreneurs.

Day 6 – Legal and Ethical Considerations

  • Legal requirements and registrations for starting a business.
  • Intellectual property rights and protecting innovations.
  • Ethical considerations in business operations.

Day 7 – Risk Management and Problem-Solving

  • Identifying risks and challenges in entrepreneurship.
