Objectives of EIR Fellowship

• To encourage graduating students to take up entrepreneurship by providing support as a fellowship of up to Rs. 3.6 lakhs, paid monthly.
• To provide a prestigious forum for deserving and budding entrepreneurs to pursue their ventures without additional risks involved in technology-based businesses.
• To create, nurture, and strengthen a pipeline of entrepreneurs.
• To make pursuing entrepreneurship related to a technology-based business idea more attractive among available career options.

Expected Outcome of EIR Fellowship

• Conversion of at least 30% of the supported recipients’ ideas into start-up companies within one year.
• At least 10% of support recipients raising funds or investment for their company within 18 months of EIR support.
